Common Questions & Answers

  • How much does it cost?

We offer two different ride options. $89 (plus tax) for 500’ and $99 (plus tax) for 1000’.  All prices are per person. Rides are based on rope length and not the actual height above the water.

  • How long is each trip/flight?

Each parasail ride is about 8-10 minutes in the air with the total boat trip time being up to 1.5 hours as you will be on the boat with other guests. Check-in time is 30 minutes before your reserved trip time.

  • How many people can up together and what is the weight limit?

You can fly single, double (tandem), or triple with tandem rides being the most common. Triples typically involve children and teenagers and parent/children combos. There is a minimum and maximum weight limit allowed in the parasail which changes with the wind/sea conditions. The standard range is a minimum of 150 lbs to a maximum of 450 lbs allowed in the parasail which is determined by the captain at the time of your flight. We will do our best to accommodate your requested flight grouping but ultimately it is up to the captain to determine the safest and most comfortable way to fly everyone.

  • Can we ride on the boat if we are not parasailing?

When space allows we can take non-parasailing observers for $25 per ticket. These tickets cannot be purchased online. Please call ahead of your visit to check on availability*.

*Please note that we often do not have available space for observers during our busy spring and summer seasons but we will do our best to accommodate requests for observer tickets. For parents of minor children - please call ahead so we can assist you in selecting a trip time that we can guarantee an observer seat for.

  • Are photo packages available?

Yes! Photo packages are available for $40 per group. This includes all members of your group regardless of how many flights there are. At the end of your trip, you will receive a link to your photos on your phone. Instructions will be provided on how to access and share your photos. Photo packages can be added when you book your trip or at check-in on the day of your adventure.

  • What should I wear?

Depending on the time of year, most people parasail in swimsuits or beach attire. A sweatshirt or light jacket is recommended in the winter and early spring months. You can parasail in street clothes but there is the chance you could get wet during the trip. You are welcome to bring sunscreen and drinks on the boat but space is limited so we ask that you please leave larger bags in your car whenever possible.

  • What are your hours?

We offer trips every hour and a half starting at 9am during the busy season (March-August). Please note that trip times and availability are subject to change due to weather conditions. We are open year-round but operate on a reduced schedule during the offseason (September-February). Our online booking calendar is updated daily but you can also give us a call to check our availability.

  • What about the weather?

Parasailing is very dependent on the weather. Weather related cancellations do occur from time to time. If we do have to cancel your trip we will give you the option of rescheduling your outing or offer a full refund. We recommend the morning for the best weather conditions because even on a nice day it can still sometimes become too windy to parasail in the afternoon.

  • We are coming in on a cruise. Can we parasail during our port of call?

Yes you can! If our online calendar doesn’t show a time that works for your port of call hours please give us a call or email and we can help get you booked.

  • Do you have group rates?

Yes, we do. For parties of 5 or more use code GROUP at checkout to receive $10 off per person.

  • Is parasailing safe?

Parasailing is very safe. Our vessel is inspected by the US Coast guard on an annual basis. Our experienced and well-trained captains are licensed by the USCG and adhere to the ASTM standards for safe parasailing operations.
